- Thank you for the absolutely wonderful antenna. I am amazed how well it performs even though the mounting place here is far from optimal. I had to mount it fairly near to our house (only 3m away) and only 2m high. Still, the reception is fantastic. I am now using it to feed an SDR receiver connected to a Raspberry Pi in our garden shed. I receive quite a lot of stations even during daylight and with the gain control in SDR# only a little bit over minimum. At night, I am able to receive almost everything the famous web-SDR at Twente University does receive.

antenna 5 meters long indoor: noise level S7, signal level of SSB station S8.
With mini whip also indoor and 20 dB attenuator at receiver: noise level S3,
 signal level S9. Will have to bring it outside as soon as possible.

- Не вытерпел, подключил на скорую руку (кабель 10 метров, питание от "кроны"). Как у Вас на ролике кинул на подоконник в горшок с цветами. Работает, но помехи. Сообразил, что нет заземления. Подцепил кусок провода, второй конец - в руку. Ушло, большинство наводок даже этим "способом". Это не выходя из хрущевки (3-й этаж кирпичного дома)! О приеме: днем (где-то между 16-00 и 19-00) уверенный прием на КВ индусов, Би-Би-Си, китайцы (ну куда-же без них), арабы и т.д. Вполне прилично прослушивается все голоса с меньшими федингами. На средних и длинных не проверял. В УКВ диапазоне тоже все отлично. Теперь, не торопясь, соображу внешнюю мачту с горизонтальным выносом от стены на 3-4 метра и по вретикали тоже не меньше. На крышу выносить видимо не буду. Буду думать о заземлении. В общем, я доволен
